For those of you who have the first edition (ISBN 1-887989-00-5), click here to view the changes to the current edition (ISBN 1-887989-03-X). Supplies Needed to make one bag: One hank of Czech glass seed beads, One pair size 0000 (1.25mm) knitting needles, One 10gm ball of #8 perle cotton thread, and if making the frame style, one BL58 purse frame. Approximate finished size 1.5" to 2" wide at the top, 3" wide at the bottom, and about 3.5" deep.

The book provides clear and concise instructions (with color photographs and b&w illustrations) to make the classic shell pendant bag (with two flap variations) and a frame style pendant bag (see photos above). Basic knitting skills are all that are required to make these bags (casting on, basic knit stitch, and binding off). Instructions and diagrams are also included to embellish the bags with ribbon work and silk ribbon embroidery in addition to suggestions on how to embellish the bags with charms, buttons and other mementos. All stitches are very easy and can be learned by any crafter. (48 pages)
All of the LS frames shown and referenced in our books have been replaced by the BL series of frames (may also be marketed with the prefix PF instead of BL). Refer to the purse frame page for our BL series of purse frames.
